Use The Best Coffee Makers To Make Filter Coffee Or The Rich And Tasty Espresso

Whether your cup of coffee tastes great or not depends on many factors including the choice of coffee makers and the source of your coffee granules. The coffee granules prepared with a coffee grinder could be course, medium, fine or even extra fine depending on the type of machine you want to use for making the coffee. Machines with flat-bottomed filters can use course coffee granules while those with cone-shaped filters are more suited for fine granules. Espresso machines use extra fine coffee granules to make the tastiest coffee but one will also need to master the art of making espresso with crema and rich aroma.

Getting more satisfying taste from your cup of coffee has a lot to do with your choice of coffee maker. There are many brands in the market available at a wide range of prices, so sometimes the choices might overwhelm you. At least knowing something about the various types of machines you expect to come across is a very important step. There are filter coffee makers and steam-driven coffee makers. The former are easy to use and require dripping water through ground coffee before it is infused into a pot or carafe. There is usually no need to boil the water first as the coffee is kept warm by hot plates in thermos pots. The steam-driven machines are used to make the strongest coffee and either use a pump or pressure simply generated by steam from boiled water. Coffee maker machine models use either permanent or paper filters. Permanent holders allow for cost savings but are not as hygienic as paper holders which are thrown away after every use.

Pump coffee makers are more modern and expensive than the pressure coffee machines. They use separate tanks to control the water temperature at the desirable levels of between 85 to 92°C which is more optimal for coffee making. The hot water is usually pumped through the filter at the right bar pressure which ensures the quality of the espresso coffee unlike is the case with filter coffee. Espresso coffee is usually the base for types of coffee such as cappuccino or latte. Other popular coffee types prepared with different ratios of espresso to milk, hot chocolate or water include Macchiato, Con Panne, Mocha and Americano. Nespresso coffee makers that use the “pod’ type of a system that produces espresso coffee are also increasingly becoming popular. They use ground coffee sealed in capsules like “tea bags”, hence eliminating the need of filters of coffee to grind.
